“Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.””
‭‭Job‬ ‭1:8‬

LORD I am a soft blaze in a breeze

Gently flowing with the wind

When I move it is in your will

Your way surrounds me and let’s my flame grow strong

Without you I will be a dark vapor that will seize to exist

Let all the earth enjoy my strong golden fame

Let it be as sweet as honey to all creation

I have no peace, no quietness; I have no rest, but only turmoil.”

‭‭Job‬ ‭3:26‬ ‭

When did I become in the mist of turmoil?

It tosses and turns me

It’s getting harder and harder to stay upright

Is it my faith be finished before my wax runs dry?

“They send forth their children as a flock; their little ones dance about. They sing to the music of timbrel and lyre; they make merry to the sound of the pipe. They spend their years in prosperity and go down to the grave in peace.”

‭‭Job‬ ‭21:11-13‬ ‭

I still have so much to give

I want to dance for you lord but the storm is too strong

I am holding on by the edge of my wick

Help me to quiet the current that I am currently cursed with

Or to at least learn why I am in the mist of it.
“That is why snares are all around you, why sudden peril terrifies you, why it is so dark you cannot see, and why a flood of water covers you.”

‭‭Job‬ ‭22:10-11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

When will it pass?

I lost the track of days last since I had joy

Before I could handle the breeze but this turbulence is too much for your servant

What will become of my flame?
